The full list of players can be viewed here. Among them who likely will be sent to Adirondack are forwards Jason Akeson, Nick Cousins, Marcel Noebels, Petr Straka and Tye McGinn. The Philadelphia Flyers had 10 draft picks in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Of those 10 picks, only three players went on to play in the NHL. One of those picks was Greg Johnson, a center that took part in 785 NHL games, but none of them with the Flyers. Another was Reid Simpson, a left winger who played in one game for the Orange and Black. The third player was Patrik Juhlin, who competed in 56 games for Philadelphia. Flyers Sign Samuel Morin to Entry-Level Contract

The Flyers announced Tuesday afternoon that they have signed 2013 first-round pick Samuel Morin to his entry level contract. Initially thought to return to Rimouski at some point during training camp, his signing means the team has been impressed so far and plan to keep him in camp at least a little longer than expected. Morin represents the Flyers 51st contract, but as was the case with goaltender Anthony Stolarz and Taylor Leier, the contract is likely to slide as they return to their respective junior teams according to Flyers writer Bill Meltzer.
