The Philadelphia Flyers won all three of their games this past week, although two of them were against the New Jersey Devils and those four points were about as easy as they come for this team. The Flyers’ impressive win over the bruised and battered Detroit Red wings however, was a classic example of Peter Laviolette’s up-tempo left-wing lock system. The Philadelphia Flyers had a week that has been pretty uncharacteristic of this team through the 2010 part of the 2010-2011 Season as they’ve allowed a ton of goals. In just three games, they allowed 15 of their total 102 goals against. As of writing this preview the Philadelphia Flyers have gotten five of the six points available through three of the four games thus far this week and will try for seven of eight against the Boston Bruins today.
