NHL 12 demo review

Upon first glance, the demo for EA’s NHL 12 appears to be a retread of last year’s NHL 11. Sure, the songs may have changed and Chicago and Philadelphia have been replaced by Vancouver and Boston but on the whole, the game remains fairly status quo — and I’m OK with that. EA puts out a solid quality product and the developers are better off improving the game rather than continually reinventing it. NHL 11 demo: A brief review, system comparison

A few days ago, I downloaded the NHL 11 demo on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. Much like Pro Hockey Talk did earlier today, I would like to share some thoughts on the game. Immediately, I was impressed by the intro and the cleaner interface. The new faceoff engine is a nice feature and there is much greater detail to the players in the circle now.
