Trenton Update: 11/16-11/22

The Trenton Titans split their two games in Elmira against the Jackals last weekend to snap a long losing streak. Trenton looks to win three out of their last four with two home games this weekend against a pair of opponents who aren’t the Royals or Jackals. The Titans ended their losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Jackals last week at First Arena. After failing to score a single goal for the Kalamazoo Wings …

Trenton Update: 11/9-11/15

In a schedule quirk, the Trenton Titans’ last five games have all come against the Reading Royals. The Titans lost every single one of those contests and are currently on a six-game losing streak, as they have gained only one point in the process. Three of Trenton’s losses to the Royals came this past weekend, as the club was minutes away from ending their losing streak. On a night where Sovereign Center could have doubled for the back section of Bed, Bath and Beyond (you know, where the beds are), the Reading Royals continued their recent roll with a 2-1 overtime decision against the Elmira Jackals on Wednesday. Still fishing for answers, Royals fall to Walleye

After a pair of rough road outings at Wheeling on Friday and Saturday, the Reading Royals were practically begging for the comforts of home, never mind that Hurricane Sandy soon would be bearing down on Berks County from its course in the Atlantic Ocean. Having lost 7-3 in the opener and a 3-2 shootout decision less than 24 hours ago, the Toledo Walleye dealt the hosts another defeat, this one by a 4-2 count which dropped the Leos to 1-5-1 on the season. “We had the momentum there in the second period, we were able to take a lead, but …
