Flight Plan: Flying Right Along

The Philadelphia Flyers won two of four games last week and gained points in three, as they climbed back into second place in the Metropolitan Division. The team is now fifth place in the Eastern Conference, by virtue of fewer games played, with 55 points. The importance of gaining points now is important not only to attempt to entrench themselves in one of the top three spots in the Metropolitan, but also to put distance between those teams who are vying for the wild card positions in the Conference.
