In what’s been the busiest week in terms of movement since the beginning of the Frequent Flyer Miles column, a laundry list of former Philadelphia Flyers and draft picks, Adirondack Phantoms, and Trenton Titans changed clubs, signed extensions, or were involved in rumors. A handful of former Flyers were involved in transactions, as Brian Boucher, Vinny Prospal, David Laliberte, and Nikolay Zherdev found themselves on the move. Signed as an unrestricted free agent to a one-year deal, Mark Cullen joined the Philadelphia Flyers in the summer of 2006 after a 29-game stint with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2005-2006 campaign. After being waived by the Flyers at the beginning of the 2006-2007 season, he played a total of three games for the Flyers and suited up for over 50 games with the Philadelphia Phantoms in his lone season with the Philly organization. We are now at the point of the offseason where the biggest news related to former Philadelphia Flyers has reached Andreas Nodl signing in Switzerland and Ryan Potulny being released from a KHL squad. After spending time with the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins in his first three years in the NHL, Daniel Lacroix became a Philadelphia Flyer in the summer of 1996. The pugilist experienced all of 188 regular season games in the NHL, 130 of which came with the Orange and Black in 1996-1997 and 1997-1998. Lacroix totaled all of five points in his time with the Rangers and Bruins before he recorded eight in 74 games for Philly in 1996-1997.
