The Flyers may have outshot the Tampa Bay Lightning 38-15 in tonight’s contest, but Dwayne Roloson stopped 35 to lead the Bolts to a 5-3 win over the Flyers. It didn’t help that Matt Carle flubbed a routine play behind the Flyers’ net to hand Tampa Bay the game-winning goal in the third period, as the Lightning beat Philly for a third time in the four-game series. A dominant win over the New York Islanders and a pair of comebacks helped the Flyers gain five crucial points in the standings this week, as Philly still has a slim chance to win the Eastern Conference. One awkward carom off the glass was the difference in tonight’s game, as the Flyers lost to the visiting Florida Panthers 2-1. Sean Bergenheim capitalized on a lucky bounce for the Panthers to pot his second game-winning goal of the season, as Philly posted a 36-13 shot advantage in the loss. “I felt like we played the way we wanted,” said Jaromir Jagr after the loss. “We jumped on them, create chances, cycle game, you know.It was just one of those games you can’t score and all of the sudden it’s 2-1.” In the middle stanza, the Panthers extended their …
