The Philadelphia Flyers have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NHL in November. Flyers Hold On, Beat Islanders 5-2

Claude Giroux’s power play goal early in the second period would prove to be the game winner, as the Flyers held on to beat the New York Islanders 5-2. Matt Read and Wayne Simmonds scored 59 seconds apart in the second period to give the Flyers an early 2-0 lead. Sean Couturier and Steve Downie assisted Read’s goal.
