2013 Year in Review: Oliver Lauridsen

It’s hard to give an overall review of a player that wasn’t expected to play for the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2013 season, but Oliver Lauridsen played respectively considering the situation he was put in this year. Poll: Can Steve Mason win the starting job?

Although Steve Mason struggled in Columbus — who didn’t? — he is not far removed from his Calder-winning rookies season. Bobrovsky was traded to Columbus last offseason for three draft picks and he easily stepped into the starting role for the Jackets.  Bob took over for a revolving goalie carousel that included Steve Mason, Curtis Sanford and …

Blood, sweat, tears, injuries and fatigue plagued this 2013 Flyers team from the start of the season. But, let’s not forget, the Flyers gave us plenty of memories from this year.
