After putting themselves in a very big hole, the Philadelphia Flyers ended this week with two emphatic wins to show that they could be a playoff team. It might be too little too late, but the Orange and Black will carry their two-game winning streak into their upcoming seven-day stretch. The Philadelphia Flyers were able to extend their point streak to four games this week, as they earned a shootout loss to the Florida Panthers and an overtime win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The Boston College class of 2013 etched themselves into the record books Monday night at TD Garden as the first Eagle team to sweep the Beanpot, winning their fourth straight title by defeating Northeastern, 6-3.
