A friend recently pointed out an extremely interesting survey he discovered on Reddit. The survey asked for feedback from NHL fans on how they felt about all of the other franchises throughout the league. For every franchise you could choose love, like, indifferent, dislike, or hate. After learning that they wouldn’t be in the playoffs for the second time in the last 18 seasons, the Flyers pulled off two straight wins. The Orange and Black look to end the campaign on a strong note with one more home game and one more away game. After putting themselves in a very big hole, the Philadelphia Flyers ended this week with two emphatic wins to show that they could be a playoff team. It might be too little too late, but the Orange and Black will carry their two-game winning streak into their upcoming seven-day stretch. The Philadelphia Flyers entered this week on a winning streak, but they left it on a losing skid and can now only hope they receive some help to make the postseason. Couturier and pair of new Flyers help Philly to road win over Leafs

The Philadelphia Flyers extended their season-high winning streak to four games tonight with a 5-3 decision over the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre. Sean Couturier and Erik Gustafsson both recorded two-assist nights, while Jay Rosehill was credited with the eventual game-winner against his former squad. Ilya Bryzgalov may have allowed three goals on 28 shots, but he and the Flyers’ defense did come up big in the third period when the Leafs surged late in the contest.
