Future Flyers Report: 1/21

During the opening weekend of the NHL season, a pair of prospects joined the Philadelphia Flyers’ roster in the team’s first two games of the 2013 campaign. The tandem of Scott Laughton, who enjoyed his first two games in the NHL, and Eric Wellwood, who registered at least one game played for the Flyers in each of the last three seasons, went pointless in the Flyers’ losses on Saturday and Sunday, but they did provide some noticeable performances. Laughton, who was picked 20th overall in the 2012 NHL Draft, was somewhat of a surprise to make the Flyers’ roster. However, …

For one day at least, the last place team in the Atlantic and the Eastern Conference outshined the best in the Atlantic and the East as  Bohmbach recorded the game-winning score with 26.1 seconds remaining in overtime to get the Trenton Titans a 4-3 win over the Reading Royals. “Every game you play you want to prove a …

Future Flyers Report: 1/14

The Philadelphia Flyers have made some noise lately with a few transactions. In addition to signing blue liner Kurtis Foster, the Orange and Black completed a deal with the Carolina Hurricanes where they received former Flyer Brian Boucher. In addition to Boosh, Philly was dealt defensive prospect Mark Alt. The pair was exchanged for forward prospect Luke Pither.
