It was two years ago today that I experienced something in my life that will change me forever. Although I saw it coming for awhile, it was the events that occurred and led up to it that make it such a hard thing to move on from. One thing that has helped me through it has been hockey. The University of Pennsylvania hasn’t played a meaningful Division I hockey game since March 4, 1978. Nonetheless, Penn hockey has existed for the last three decades as a successful club team, moving through a succession of divisions and maintaining rivalries with virtually every other program in the region that’s not its traditional rival and neighbor Princeton.
