Game 11 Preview: Anaheim Ducks @ Philadelphia Flyers

Anaheim Ducks (9-3-0) @ Philadelphia Flyers (3-7-0), 7:00pm, CSN-Philly/PRIME After a pair of wins, the Philadelphia Flyers find themselves sitting at 3-7-0 and arguably still searching for their first impressive victory of the season. With one win coming against a Florida Panthers team that saw Tim Thomas let in two soft goals and a sloppy win against the New York Rangers, the Orange and Black did look strong against the New York Islanders for their third win of the year on Saturday. This time it was Brandon Manning. Manning played in a few games for the Orange and Black last season, as he posted a plus-1 rating in four contests for Philly. He didn’t record a point with the Flyers last season, but the former Chilliwack Bruin played well in his first stretch at the NHL level. A day after Huskins’ injury, Manning appeared in his first …

The Philadelphia Flyers’ organization signed forward Petr Straka this week.
