Penn State schedule released; Nits return to Philadelphia

It’s official. For a second straight season, the Penn State Nittany Lions and Vermont Catamounts will play in Philadelphia. On Thursday, the Nits revealed their full 2013-14 schedule, which includes the second annual Philadelphia College Hockey Faceoff, set to take place on Saturday, October 26 at Wells Fargo Center. Last season, the inaugural edition originally scheduled for mid-January was interrupted by the resumption of the 2013 NHL schedule, but contested following the Penguins-Flyers season opener and won by Penn State, 4-2.
