On this edition of the Flyers Faithful podcast, Steve and Hal broadcast live (at the time) from the Flyers Faithful fundraiser for fallen Philadelphia firefighter Michael Goodwin as team PFD took on team DDC. Pittsburgh Penguins v Philadelphia Flyers - Game Three

Who We Hate: A Recap

Hello, Flyers fans! We are just two short days away from the start of this lockout-shortened season, and since it’s been an ungodly long time since we’ve cheered on the Flyers and cursed out their opponents, I figured I’d provide you with a short refresher course on who we enjoy cursing out the most. Future Flyers Report: 1/7

Shane Harper signed an entry-level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers in March of 2010 after an impressive season with the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League. Harper is currently second all-time in Silvertips’ history for points (214, 48 behind Zach Hamill), goals (100, seven behind Hamill), and assists …

With all of the CBA talk this week, it seemed appropriately inappropriate that this feature look at a real bad misstep by our northern neighbors’ hockey news headquarters: TSN. Guess the NHL really is shooting for the moon with this year’s Bridgestone Winter Classic. …

Behind The Crest: Bernie and Kim Parent

A little girl sits high up at the Spectrum and plays with her Barbie dolls while her father dominates in goal below. Fast forward to 35 years later — that same girl sits with her young children, and watches her father, now a legend, take the ice one more time. “The feeling when he stepped onto the ice, and the chants and ovation he got… just watching him out there was amazing. It was a great experience for me and the kids.” Kim Parent was just a year old when her father, Bernie, led the Flyers to their first of …
