Frequent Flyer Miles: Boucher cut, Prospal possibly going to Europe, AHL training camps

In what’s been the busiest week in terms of movement since the beginning of the Frequent Flyer Miles column, a laundry list of former Philadelphia Flyers and draft picks, Adirondack Phantoms, and Trenton Titans changed clubs, signed extensions, or were involved in rumors. A handful of former Flyers were involved in transactions, as Brian Boucher, Vinny Prospal, David Laliberte, and Nikolay Zherdev found themselves on the move. Another week in the offseason just means more former Philadelphia Flyers on the move, as 10 former players or draft picks changed franchises or leagues. There weren’t a lot of noteworthy former Philadelphia Flyers involved in transactions this week, but there were several lesser known former Flyers that moved and a lengthy list of former Phantoms that signed with different teams. The biggest news could surround the tandem of Jaromir Jagr and Danny Briere.
